This major draws on many diverse subjects such as management, economics, sociology, and psychology to help you learn how to function creatively and effectively in all types of organizations—business, government, and not-for-profit. In this major you will learn how to analyze and change organizational structures and to gain perspective on the roles of effective leaders and followers. You will learn how to function on high performance teams, manage diversity, and resolve conflict. Understanding the importance of learning in organizations and developing skills in financial oversight, entrepreneurship, and project management are also important take-aways from this major.
