Dual Degree Option Admission Process
University College offers a dual bachelor’s and master’s program for Bachelor of Arts Completion Program students. Students admitted to the dual degree program are permitted to substitute for two courses from the master’s degree for two courses in the undergraduate major. These two courses reduce the total hours in the bachelor’s and master’s program by 8 quarter hours. The corresponding cost reduction is approximately $3200.

Applications
Bachelor of Arts Completion Program students with between 80-140 hours of credit are eligible to apply. Students must meet with the academic advisor to determine if they qualify. Students must apply and be accepted for the master’s degree program—admission is not automatic.
Students must meet the following criteria:
- Grade point average in BACP course of 3.5 or higher
- Must have completed at least 8 credits in BACP
- Job-related experience or aspirations presented as a convincing rationale for embarking on the program

There is a non-refundable application fee of $75.00. Checks can be made payable to University of Denver, or you may pay the fee with a credit card by calling the Admissions office at 303-871-3969. You may also pay the fee online if you complete the online application form.

4. Personal Statement
Type your answers to the essay questions and submit them with your application (approximately three pages, double-spaced)

5. Two Letters of Recommendation (Instructors)
We require two recommendation letters from BACP instructors.
6. Two Letters of Recommendation (Employers)
We require two recommendation letters from employers. Letters should come from individuals who can speak to your professional strengths and aptitude for graduate study.
The application review process occurs on a monthly basis. Review of completed files occurs the last week of each month. Applicants will be notified of a decision via standard mail the week following the review. Applicants must complete and submit an admissions application for consideration to any master's degree programs. Applications will not be reviewed until all required admission items are received.
