The state and importance of security has changed significantly in the past several years, and properly educated security professionals are in high demand. With the need for organizations and businesses to protect their employees and customers, physical assets, intellectual property and information, and maintain continuity of operations after major disruptive events, private industry is one of the fastest growing security sectors. Currently, private sector spending on security is at least $100 billion per year with over two million people employed, and these figures will continue to grow.

If you are an established or aspiring mid-career security professional responsible for security in commercial, industrial, or governmental organizations this is the degree for you. Today’s security positions are more complex than ever, requiring leadership and management of security operations addressing personnel, property, facility, information, and business continuity security. Our program is designed specifically for business and organizational security management professionals, and the curriculum is based on recommendations from ASIS International.
