Intellectual property differs from tangible property because it is the product of the human mind. Social networking and other Web 2.0 applications, such as blogs and wikis have grown exponentially with the ease of ‘social’ networking and information sharing. What does this growth and ease mean for organizations today, especially keeping safe their creative information that has economic value? This course explores the current legal and ethical issues and challenges associated with the open information age.
