Visual Communication of Knowledge - 4 credits
Visual communication involves the presentation of information and ideas in forms that increase comprehension and critical thinking. Complex information, when presented in a visual form, may increase understanding and comprehension. Visual representations often show trends over time, make explicit comparisons or build representations of some aspect of the world. This class provides specific tools and ideas for making data and information understandable to workers of differing education backgrounds at all levels of the organization. Students will complete a project that uses appropriate visual communication techniques for sharing knowledge.
