Competitive Intelligence for Effective Decisions - 4 credits
Competitive Intelligence is the process of gathering information, analyzing it and applying it in an ethical manner to the decision making process of an organization. In this course students are introduced to tools that can be used to collect, store analyze and apply information. The difference between primary and secondary research will be discussed along with the methodologies for organizing information, in both electronic and paper formats is discussed. Ethical dilemmas involved in intelligence gathering are identified and explored.
