Cultivating and Sustaining Donor Relations - 4 credits
This course begins with the question: why are donors needed? Students learn how to establish and sustain appropriate donors for the organization. This course explores the practice of identifying donors, making donor contacts and establishing donor relationships in an ethical and sustainable manner. Donors may be businesses, government organizations, individuals or foundations. Students learn how to cultivate involvement, build transparency ask for donations. The goal is to become skilled in helping organizations establish and sustain donor support throughout the long term existence of the organization.
