Aligning Goals, Strategies and Budgets - 4 credits
This course analyzes the strategic advantages that occur when the organization’s mission and goals are aligned with its work plan, strategies and budget. If the goals, strategies and budgets are in alignment, the organization has the opportunity to move forward, and be adaptive and innovative. This course explores organizations from the viewpoint of strategic alignment of their critical frames of operation. Students can expect to learn about basic concepts and tools for financial management and understand how to use budget planning and control for achieving institutional goals.
