The study of languages has something to offer everyone. In a world where global perspectives are increasingly important, effective communication and a greater understanding of the distinctive viewpoints and practices of other cultures are essential skills. University College's Modern Languages program can give you what you need to communicate in another language, increase professional opportunities, become a more knowledgeable traveler, and gain an entrée into another culture-all in a relaxed setting with other adults.

A can be earned in less than two years by completing 48 credit hours. Graduate certificates allow professionals to add a powerful skill set to their capabilities in one year by completing 24 credit hours. Credits earned as part of a graduate certificate can be applied toward the completion of a University College master’s degree.
Translation & Interpretation Workshops
Students who complete three quarters of sequential course work in a given language series may receive a Certificate in Modern Languages
