M.Ed., University of Nebraska-Lincoln, has conducted hundreds of lectures throughout the U.S. and Canada on African-American Underground Railroad history. She was a consultant for Great Divide Pictures on the documentary, Hidden in Plain View, Denver, 2001-2002. She has published two books--Hidden in Plain View: A Secret Story of Quilts and the Underground Railroad, and The Tao of Women. She is working on a new book about the Canadian Story of the Underground Railroad. (MALS)
