Ph.D., Middlebury College, has been a keynote speaker and conference presenter on numerous occasions both in the United States and abroad. Her areas of specialization at Middlebury Language Schools were French Literature and Cinema. Under the auspices of the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Rockefeller Foundation, she has developed materials for the study of literature and film. Altman is the author of several articles on French language pedagogy and has written a book on the analysis of French literature and film. (MALS, MODL)
