Charles Roderick

Charles Roderick is an Adjunct Lecturer for the Art and Art History Department at the University of Denver, where he teaches 2D/3D Approaches, Concepts, Open Media Studio, and Net Art and Design. He received his BFA in Photography from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He currently resides as a board member for OPENSOURCE Art–an alternative not-for-profit art space, and is an advisory board member for The Other Side Arts. His work crosses disciplines, critically engaged in art discourse with an emphasis on collaborative practices, group work, and participatory cultural production. He recently presented work with the collaborative project Hideous Beast in Toronto, Canada, is scheduled to participate in two separate projects early this summer at the Zero1 Biennial, located at the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, and will be a resident artist for the month of July at the Chicago art space InCUBATE.
