Elizabeth A. Geiser has spent all of her career in book publishing, dividing her time between New York publishing and the University of Denver Publishing Institute that she founded and directed until her retirment in December 2007. She has served as Senior Vice President/Publisher of the R. R. Bowker Company and Senior Vice President, Business Development, Gale Research Company and has served on the Board of Directors of the Association of American Publishers. In 1988 she was honored for the accomplishments of her career and her role as industry educator by being inducted into the Publishing Hall of Fame. She is a graduate of Hood College.
