William Haywood Henderson holds a masters in creative writing from Brown University, and he was a Wallace Stegner Fellow in Creative Writing at Stanford University. He has taught writing at Harvard, Brown, and Lighthouse Writers Workshop. He is the author of three novels: Native, The Rest of the Earth, and Augusta Locke.
