J.D., University of Denver. Ms. Starosta has taught research and writing to graduate students in several academic settings, including in her role as a “Junior Partner” for the Lawyering Process Program at the University of Denver College of Law. Ms. Starosta designed and taught "Frameworks for Understanding the Middle East," a interdisciplinary course regularly offered at the graduate level through DU's University College. She also has experience teaching at the undergraduate level, including courses on international public policy and conflict theory as it relates to the Middle East (the latter for the Graduate School of International Studies at DU). She has been published in the McGill Journal for Political Studies and the Denver Journal of International Law & Policy (book note). Ms. Starosta has served as a regulatory consultant, which included assisting clients in their written testimony preparation for FCC and Department of Justice hearings. In addition to her expertise in international relations and regulatory policy, Ms. Starosta is interested in alternative dispute resolution as it relates to those areas, as well as within the context of interpersonal and intra-community relations. Currently, Ms. Starosta serves on the editorial board of Confluence, an interdisciplinary, national academic journal publishing liberal arts research and creative writing.
