B.A., North Dakota State University, is the maintainer of rxtx, an open source Java API which is used in many solutions. Jarvi has fifteen years of applied research. He developed diagnostic tests used internationally in organ transplantation, HIV diagnostics and cytomegalo virus diagnostics. For three years he developed automated DNA based paternity tests. He has five years research in plant molecular genetics and ten years of programming experience including image recognition, test automation, instrumentation and promotion of open source solutions.
