Brian Rothwell

Brian Rothwell is currently employed at ConMed Electrosurgery as a Senior Software Engineer designing and implementing embedded software for medical devices. Brian has worked for a series of startups producing highly reliable integrated hardware/software products in the medical, broadcast and large format printing environments. Prior to this, he worked for Lockheed Martin Aerospace for 12 years and served as a US Navy officer on a nuclear attack submarine.
Areas of expertise include software and systems architecture, software design and implementation.
Brian has taught C and C++ programming languages, along with software analysis and design techniques at University College since 1989.
Brian has an M.S.in Computer Science from the University of Colorado and and a B.A in Math/Computer Science from the University of Misouri.
