M.A., Golden Gate University, is a Database Architect for Newsgator Technologies, Inc. His 16 years of technical experience include development work for the California State Automobile Association, Taco Bell, FRx Software, Convergent Group, Cendant, and Mortgage Cadence. His responsibilities have included full life cycle design and development of n-tier client/server applications, performance optimization of enterprise level applications, mentoring, and training. He is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for SQL Server. He has also completed the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certifications. His expertise covers the .NET Framework, SQL Server 2005, database clustering and mirroring, Windows Server 2003, Visual Basic .NET, Visual Basic, ADO.NET, ADO, and COM/COM+. (CIS)
