Mr. James has been dedicated to continuous education through his own educational experiences receiving a BS in Accounting from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA, his MBA degree concentrating in Finance and Accounting from Regis University, Denver, CO and his MSCIS degree concentrating in Database Technologies also from Regis University. Mr. James is also an Oracle Certified Professional in Oracle 8i and 9i.
Mr. James has been teaching at the Master’s level in Database Technologies since March of 2001 with Regis University and since January 2006 with University College at the University of Denver (DU). Courses taught include Database Architecture, Database Concepts, Database Administration, Backup and Recovery, Oracle PL/SQL Programming, and Advanced Database Design.
Mr. James has worked at various companies that have positioned him well as a Senior IT Professional in the field of Database Technologies working with a broad range of database software from various vendors as well as taping into many of the advanced features of these RDBMS systems and their third party toolsets. Some of the companies include Information Handling Services (IHS), HealthTrans, LLC, MDC Holdings (Richmond American Homes), Time Warner Telecom (now known as TWTELECOM), InfoNow Corporation, and Sungard Data Systems just to name a few. Mr. James is also an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the first Gulf War.
