Mike Stowe

Masters of Telecommunications, University of Denver, CISSP and GSEC certifications, teaches in the Telecommunications and Computer Information Systems programs at University College. Stowe has been an information security professional since 1994, specializing in finding innovative ways to economically use security as an ‘enabling’ technology. Stowe also serves as technical lead on a variety of initiatives for building secure networks, specifically secure access for ‘crown jewels’ such as legacy applications, financial applications, e-commerce servers, and storage networks. Additionally, Stowe has conducted work on double blind firewalls, split Domain Name Service configurations, hardening various operating systems and VPN solutions.
