Mark Merkow

Masters of Science in Decision and Information Systems from Arizona State University and a Masters of Education in Learning Technologies from ASU. Mark also holds two industry security certifications, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certificate from ISACA. Mark has over 28 years of experience in Information Technology with experience in roles as programmer, systems designer, consultant, instructor, and IT Security professional.
Mark works with his company's CIO office to establish the IT security strategy for financial services management and infrastructure to support a broad portfolio of credit card, banking, and brokerage products and services. Mark represents his company as an Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS/ISAC) Site Coordinator. Mark is also an alternate delegate to the ANSI X9F committee and works closely with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) on IT Security testing and evaluation methodologies (e.g. Common Criteria). Mark serves as a Board Member to the Financial Institutions Data Evaluation Security (FIDES, LLC) to aid in the programmatic oversight in the BITS Tested Mark product security initiatives.
